Description
Kiefer the lemur, part of the sniper devision in the lemur military. He lacks a tail as do all elites, it is cut off thilst they are but wee lads. They learn to counter balance and thus the tail does not get in their way. A loner and quite the hard ass, as seems to be prerequisite for snipers, Kiefer is one of the top snipers regardless of his employ of oldschool tactics and weaponary. His main job is to take out traitors, which means killing his own. No problem.lineart was pencil and techpen on crappy typing paper, scanned in an coloured in Painter IX.

This reminds me of my ex-boyfriend, Kiefer. He said he was going to kill me and broke into my house and everything, haha, but luckily I got out a butcher knife and chased him out of my house with it.
ANYWAY, this is a GREAT piece. Not only is the drawing wonderful, but the coloring is fantastic as well. This makes for a superb piece of artwork. (Nice character design, btw)

This is colored really beautifully... Its sad that they have no tails. i mean.. it is a really insteresting idea.. but man lemurs have one of the best tails in nature.. ;-; They are also one of my all time fav animals.
This picture is really freaking awesome... I love the wrinkles in the cloths.. and the pose is really insteresting.. Its a trickly pose to get off.. But it looks good never the less. Scary eye.. but awesome.. =d

I agree on the tial,s I love lemur tails. However part of good storytelling is becoming detached from some of the things you like so you can sacrifice them for the good of an interesting and varied story. *SLICE*

Very very very good point. ::cringes to the slicein:: Im sure it would become a liability(sp?) later on. In fighting and everything... The tail is just another thing you grab and catch you.. Or get caught on something.

Fanastic colouring on this, really slick and smooth but not prissy, there's a real sense of solidity and form to this. Fantastic work on the folds. Some of the forshortening seems a little odd, but I'm no expert I think it works anyway, it makes it more dynamic and with the glowy eye gives a kinda surreal/nightmare sort of look to it to me. A lot more active and imposing even though it's a static pose. Neat character design as well, and lemurs rule. Great stuff.
