Description
Nix can always put what she has in her mind down onto paper, canvas, stone, etc. She rarely takes time to prape a layout unless working on a large mural, such as is the case here as she kneels to sketch out a design and some notes. For all her talent, she is not so organized with her tools. She walks on her sketches, shovels aside old canvas and steps over containers of paint to get around her studio. The goal with her is the finished product, then moving on.Here Nix is in her full outfit. She wears mainly the undergarment (as shown in the previous image) when doing serious painting as to not have flaps of clothing get in the way. This will be coloured.

Art-student's comments: I know you didn't draw this up for me... but I SERIOUSLY gotta say thanks... my main character is a legendary kitsunejin called the White Fox... he's more humanoid than Vix and Kaiya (Having little fur [Only a spiral of it going from his tail, around his chest, up his shoulders and around the back of his neck, and up to his ears] and a human nose)... Therefore I needed some reference for better, more realistic ears (and the ones you used for Nix and Kaiya are possible to imagine under the hair, whereas the ones I've been using I couldn't draw well without hair over them if I HAD to...) as well as a fox-tail.
So thanks again ^w^... this and the other pics are gonna be a real help to me...

The detail is really amazing on this one. Her facial espression is great too. Also the pose is really good. It must be a bit tricky designing outfits for someone with a tail.

It's funny, I figured if you were to do a character with an artsy flair it'd be a guy (in a self portrait-like way; your anthro, Axer), but I like this better.

One thing I always wanted to ask you: Do you honestly plan out every detail as well as the entire composition before you even really start to lay pen to paper. Or do you just get the general idea down first and then just throw in some random thrills and frills as you go?
At any rate, you're stuff is very clean and every line very deliberate it seems. I'm really surprised you can pump out such well made drawings with such speed. You must have a lot of time on your hands.

Actually, you know what, never mind.... Every time I ask that question, it's always like 2-4 hours and I really think I just need to concede to that fact that I'm a cripplingly slow artist.

Dude... You have such a high level of creative vision. Just the sheer amount of detail gives such character to the... well, the characters.
And the details are all drawn out so crisp and clear too. That's something I've been struggling to accomplish (most likely due to not finding the perfect pen to work with).
I always feel like a giddy little child when looking at your updates. It's like getting a gift every time.
