Description
This pendant is started with a chunk of dark blue sea glass, silver and black 20 gauge wires. Then the Bicone Swarovski Crystals (AB Clear, Grey, Medium Blue, Dark Blue) were added with silver 26 gauge wire and a double ribbon of half inch dark blue and inch turquoise were tied onto the loop.I chose the silver and black wire to contrast and make the deep blue of the sea glass shine out. Originally it was supposed to be something really simple but the person that bought it wanted to have the incremental darkening and sparkle that I did on the tail ends of my Sunset Chains. Then chose the two ribbons to compliment the pendant. It turned out really beautiful in the end!
I wondered if I should have made this a two screen shot of the original and the finished? What do you think?

With the silver against the black it does make it pop doesn't it. This surprised me how well it complimented.
Are you going to fall over if I -poke- you?

Thank you, it did turn out well in the end. It was a tiny bit of collab with the buyer. She was the one that asked me to add the swarovski crystals. It was a good idea as it added just that little accent that it needed to make it shine.

Ah ah ah! No stealing.. besides this was already sold at Califur this year. She was really happy when she left with it.
The wire wrap was interesting 'cause I didn't think it would work at first but I proved myself wrong. I was kinda going for something funky but it turned out very nice.

Very pretty...I'd love to try some stuff with polished glass but you don't find much of it here in Oklahoma.
I've got a bunch of new jewelry up in my gallery if you wanna take a look.

Sometimes if you look really hard in the craft stores they will sell sea glass in small bags. I think the last time I saw some they were for making mosaics.
I took a look in your gallery and it looks stunning. You have a very good eye for color combination's and your wrapping is coming out great.

Thanks If you have any tips or see anything I could fix, let me know. I'm still kinda training myself how to do these, and eventually I'd like them to be good enough for selling.

A good portion of your stuff looks like a lot like what I sell. don't sell yourself short.
One of the reasons why I like this style of art is that it is very simple to get started. That and your creativity is unlimited.

Breathtaking!
The dual-color wires add something extra I think.
