Description
To make up for my negligence in posting all my Archie sketch cards when I promised I would, I'm now posting my Star Wars sketch cards that I drew for Topps this past January. There's going to be eleven sheets, and I can't swear that I'll post these once a day, but I'll post as many as I can as often as I can. These cards are already in circulation, and can several can be found on E-Bay. For my efforts, I got to keep a handful of return cards, and managed to sell those for a nice sum (you can view them in my DA gallery). Anyway, hope you enjoy these. And hope even more that these inspire some more commissions to come my way.Related content

These are great, Jay! The HUGE Star Wars fan in me is squealing at the awesomeness of these like a giddy schoolgirl
Your take on Jar-Jar reminds me of a froggy Goofy- I like it!

Sorry that I didn't comment on these sooner - that has to be the funkiest Jar-Jar I've seen yet!

Thanks! I was hesitant to draw JarJar, since I pretty much felt the same about him as the rest of civilization. But when you're drawing 100 Star Wars cards, after awhile, you stop being fussy about which characters you want to draw!

I thought that too! Except back in 1976 (a year before Star Wars hit theaters) the good people at Kenner Toys decided to call him Walrus Man. Now honestly, if walruses had butt faces like this in real life, wouldn't they have a harder time scarfing down penguins? Try chewing with your butt and see what I mean!

It wasn't until the 80's when Lucas decided to forgo all the tacked on names Kenner gave his miscellaneous aliens, and renamed almost all of them. Buttface/Walrus Man became Ponda Baba, or some such spelling.
