Oh it's a technique that I see used in a bunch of manga that I wanted to try out, it's supposed to be the shadow cast across her cheek from her nose but it doesn't really look right. ^^''

Yes. To an extent. I don't care how many seconds - to the thousandth, mind you - it takes Jimmy's pencil to hit the ground when he drops it from a 426.3287 foot high building. With a wind resistance of -2.35 inches per second, let's not forget that. XD
