Yay, almost done . . . XPAt first I went crazy with blood all over the page but then my dad flipped out and started complaining that if I turned in a blood-covered picture to a teacher I would get landed in counseling. So I toned it down. Still, the first color in the pages so far. I'm gonna be broke buying ink cartridges after this. DX
If anyone thinks this needs a mature content filter, please tell me.

I don't think it needs a Mature content filter... this scene WAS in the book, after all. And its really not that gorey. So, no. I don't think it does need one.

Phew, good. The original probably could have used a filter (I had tendons hanging from her arm, blood all over, etc. very bad) but I suppose you're right. ^^ Right now I'm more worried about Fang's use of the phrase "what the hell" on the next page. After all, this is a school project . . . [oh noes]

Lol, when reading from a holocaust book she was reading it aloud and she didn't miss a beat when she had to say, "Damn those bastards and their communist ways. God damn them." No one even laughed. 0_0

My techer was reading Bridge to Terabithia (ages ago) and when she had to cuss, the class all gasped and was like, "Ms. So-and-So!" And all she did was say "Don't interrupt. Its in the book." And no one ever bothered her again.

Lol, we're so used to our teacher picking books that have foul language (oh my!) that we're not even phased anymore. I asked her about my project (yes, the very one we are commenting on!) and she said, "Oh, hell yeah, you can do a comic if you want. It needs to be a damn good one, though." I love teachers who sound like sailors. XD
