I would say she looks too skinny (the thumb version makes her look even more so) but I believe this is due to the heavy shadowing and how she is stretching her back out, so in those respects, this shot is wonderful

Are those supposed to be muscles on the back? Or is this just an anorexic model?
It looks disgusting.

When I sit in a similar position, my ribs, shoulder blades, and hipbones protrude. It's the angle and the light and the body type; please stop with the unkind comments. No one really likes being called disgusting on what's supposed to be a happy day for them.
Oh, and I'm currently eating a cheeseburger from Checkers.

I'm sorry I don't fit in your world where negative criticism is nonexistent. I stand by my opinion, period.
If folks don't like negative opinions, they should stop posting pictures which folks may find disgusting, disturbing, meh, bleh, fail, whatever.

You realize that the model can see your comment, and that you're saying that people might find her disgusting, disturbing, meh, bleh, fail, whatever? Did you even look at the rest of the photos in her gallery? She's nowhere near "anorexic." You can have your opinion all you want, but common kindness and courtesy is also a valued trait.

Yea, so? You think I'm alone with my opinion? Perhaps I'm the only one able to say it out loud and not being afraid.
How do you express/write down, in kindness and courtesy, something you find disgusting? "not good"? "could be better"? "I don't like it"?
Sorry, but I like being frank.

Pretty sure she's just supposed to look like every other annorexic model.
The heavy shading in this doesn't make it any better... Eh.. it's to each artists preference I guess.

Awesome angles, and it's eye catching in a slightly disturbing way that intrigues people and brings out a lot of different emotions. A deserved DD Congrats!

agreed! im about the same body type and not due to any eating disorder. people should just get over the fact that some people have different bodies to others. you can tell she's fine because she has a healthy looking face and arms, anorexic and bulimic people are boney there too. all this is is a slightly unflattering pose due to the way it empathizes her ribs. if it were cropped a quarter from the left or so, it would be fine.

I can't understand why so many people are picking on your weight here. Would they also comment on photos of more corpulent women that they should eat a few burgers less or have a salad instead of pizza? Everybody who went to your gallery would see that you look pretty healthy and not anorexic. And in this pose you would see ribs of every normally weighted woman because the back is so stretched. Society is really developing double standards concerning weight... However, I think your gallery tells me you're strong enough not to care Great shot by the way and ingenious pose!

what do you mean double standards? i would totally say that to some fat chick.
insensitivity to all, and to all a good night.
(the shot is beautiful though)

im (mostly) kidding.
i have to agree with you though. it seems like if you think someone is too thin youre being socially aware or some shit. but if you say something about someone being fat, well then, youre just being mean arent you? after all, no one can help their own behavior anymore. and to suggest otherwise is being insensitive!
i hate popular culture which says that were all at the mercy of advertisements and chemicals in our brains. hardly anyone takes any fucking responsibility for their actions anymore (my apology to anyone who genuinely suffers from some neurological disorder).

100% agreed
I have seen women who look at anorectic film stars in the magazine and then say they're so PROUD that they're overweight - as if it's an achivement in the light of female emancipation! I think if there's no health problem involved I don't need to comment anything. I have a friend since my school time who ate 5 sandwitches for lunch every day and she was 1,70m tall with 50kg weight. I never heard her talking or complaining about her weight but all the time people come and try making it an issue trying to "help" her to gain weight because obviously she must have some eating disorder. I have another friend who is just as tall but weighs 20kg more - but when you go out with her she cannot eat anything and will chew on a salad leaf while everyone else is having pizza because she's permanently on a low-carb diet and she's talking about food all the time. I think the second one has the eating disorder and I told her that. I think it's not possible to just look at somebody and say what's wrong with that person.

I was struck as soon as I saw the thumbnail for this. I love the light, the shadows, the clear outlines on your body; they're so dramatic and strong. Your pose and gaze are perfect, and I love that you can see the details in your skin. It all makes you seem like much more than just a model in a photograph.
Simple but beautiful, real, and powerful. Just a great photo.

My apologies to subjecting you to such commentary. I really didn't even consider that people would be flinging around the idiotic "anorexia" label here, as you are clearly healthy. If anyone is overly rude to you about this, please report them to the help desk for harassment, and block them from your page. I featured this because it's amazingly emotive and breathtaking, and I'm sorry people feel the need to try to drag you down.

I think she is lovely, but there is a worry about seeing all those ribs that makes me wonder if she's healthy. I think that is some shadowplay added to the posture to enhance the imagery--or, I hope at least. I do love the shot itself, and the model is obviously extremely flexible and her face is gorgeously strong-featured and focused upon in this picture.
