I decided that I really need to try screentone options in Clip Studio Paint so I did this.

However you can't see the part on his forhead where his gem should go. I thought the hair was long enough to comer it up and made my job easier. Also I changed my approach to drawing his hair.

Originally Axl here had a different expression (a happy one to be exact), but I started to think how actually he might've reacted to someone continuosly asking him to take his helmet off (which in my head is a rather hard thing to do as it requires a lot of parts to be taken off seperately one-by-one).

Why would anyone ask this?

Well, I dunno, to satisfy their personal fetish (which is kinda my thing, I like to think how some characters would've looked like without helmets, but I'm against the idea of letting any X-series era repliroid getting a really human-like body).

I hope it looks decent, but I'm probably setting it as my profile picture until I'll draw him again.
