I used to watch RWBY every year as soon as the new episodes came out. Now I don't think I've watched the last two seasons. RWBY is a series that I feel has deviated too far from the original premise. I enjoyed how it started. A group of friends going to school to become hunters and huntresses. Ok, I can dig that. But now it's full of political assassinations, and way too much convenient magic.

While I haven't "watched" the series for about two years now, I still check the wiki after every season, mainly to see who managed to live and who died. There have been some... unfair deaths that are a massive turn off for me for ever continuing. I watch shows for the plot, but when that gets stale, I move on. It's a shame because I'm a massive fan of some of the voice actors/actresses.

I'm going to be honest here when I say that character design was a reason I stuck around for so long. I enjoyed how some characters changed season to season, some for the better, some for the worse. It kept things fresh in what I consider a long and stale story. I think out of all the characters, Team RWBY are some of the cutest as character designs go.

I do want to eventually write a story revolving around Team RWBY and maybe other characters from the universe. The premise that I toss around everything I think about it is Adam Taurus trapping the team and changing them into animals as part of his quest to prove that faunus are better than people. H take it a step farther and turns them into animal, as it's not quite faunus, but it's not human. IDK, there's a reason I haven't written anything yet. RWBY will be revisited.

No one asked, but when it comes to Team RWBY, my favorites in order are Weiss, Yang, Blake, and then Ruby. Blake used to be my favorite, but I hate her design with both her human ears and her cat ears. It's like, make up your mind, cat or human.

I picked chicken for Weiss, because she should transform into a bird. Normally I would pick swan, because it fits with her color scheme, and her whole thing is elegant and grace, but sometimes, transformation isn't about fitting, but sometimes it's about humiliation.

I picked donkey for Yang because if she was being transformed, she would be angry and be arguing with the person responsible the entire time, even as her body changed. Stubborn and hotheaded like a donkey.

I can't imagine Blake transforming into anything other than a cat. Sometimes the easy answer is the right one.

For Ruby, I dunno, I needed an animal, and I came up with elephant. She looks hella cute though, that is fact.
