Description
Hey, even a girl with no neck needs to make money!Rajila's problem is that she's very lazy, and sleeps and eats alot, but does very few physical activities. She works at a media office, and spends most of her time there in front of her computer, or in meetings in a room maybe twenty feet away. Bad Rajila, bad!
*hits Rajila with a rolled up newspaper, with her one of her stories on the front page*
Oh yeah, the pyramid-shaped building in the back is one of my mile-high Middenian pyramids, the first of which was erected three years after Xob's rule was founded. They're two miles from corner to corner, and house literal cities within themselves.

Ah. Not exactly my cup of tea; I prefer my chars to have a bit more substance than just fabric.

Well they do have substance and history in many of them. My OC Chris there has his own organic system and has a skeletal system and even muscles and tissue.

I think the word you were looking for is arcology.

Hmmm, somehow I think that word refers more to a city built in a single tower. The pyramid's base is four square miles of land that had to be excavated, that does little to preserve the environment in that area...

Now that takes talent. I can't even type if my head is turned to the side, much less detatched from my body and at an oblique angle.

Lol, your eyes actually can rotate, as in when you turn your head on it's side, your eyes stay level. Look in a mirror, close up, and cock your head slowly, and you'll see.

Wow. O.o
An entire city in a pyramid?
Reminds me of Midgar.... For some odd reason.

Argh! Why does everyone say that Midden reminds them of this "Midgar" thing?!?!?
I doubt Midgar has sa galaxy-spanning empire and weapons that can obliterate planets!

...
I meant the Pyramid reminds me of Midgar, in that it's a whole city, presumabley layered.

You know, a detachable head would be great for a lot of meetings. Especially the boring ones. Heck, she's already got a pillow.

Yeah it would!
The body could pretend to be taking notes, while the head sleeps in her lap.

And, of course, the option to send the head out for a long lunch with a friend. No scarfing down reheated food on a short lunchbreak.

I love these no neck works you make but from a medical or any standpoint, it seems impossible for such actions to occur unless through second brains yet the mental synapsis wouldn't pair into the one being of both parts as if they were whole. But if technology is as advance as I believe then a simple displacement actually allows this to occur just with the exception of a "Loose Head" thing, so say if she ate something it would automatically end up in her body through displacement of some sort.
again love the work.

Lol, I explain this sto everyone once or twice; "Some of the food she eats is converted into pure, raw energy, and if you know anything about that kind of conversion, a grain of sugar could power an entire city. That energy is used to create a wormhole, through which the rest of the food is transported to her body."
Glad you like, tho!
