This is the DC/ JLA Spread that I am working on. I am still going and deciding if I want to add another page to it. The Nightwing that I had done was actually for a page that was on the far left. This started out as just a mural then turned to a group photo "thingy." Thats why some of the characters are out of scale from the others.Roster thus far starting Top left:

OK, so, it looks like I forgot to comment on this previously. So, here goes the geek-out...
OMFG, you remembered Stargirl! That makes you infinately AWESOME! I love the Flash's smirk. Powergirl looks great, and not so boyish like she often does. Captain Marvel still has a look of youth to him, that is oh, so detrimental. I like the beginnings of Hawkman, too.
Overall, your work makes you sexy, but you know that. Great job!

Looks like Vulcan is gonna get a skull full of Nth Metal Mace.
To me this looks almost like a mural piece where separate images are combined in a collage style instead of a "group shot".

Its kind of both. Started out as a Mural (if that) then turned into the group thing.

I agree with DM, one of the biggest problems I see with Super Man is his left arm, it almost looks like he has someone in a headlock, the muscle is too big.

Actually the arm is the same proportion wise as everyone elso on the page. Or similar anyway. His bicep IS bigger than anyone else's but 1) he (proportion wise) is larger than anyone else on th epage Because it started with him and then spread across the page like a virus, once I decised to add the additonal players. 2) He's freakin Superman. Dont forget he is a Kansas Farmboy, as well as Kryptonianand this guy [link] cannot have bigger biceps than Big Blue. (Compare head to Bicep) If anyone's Bi's are to big it'd be Batman's since he should have a more athletic look like a male gymnist in my opinion. But the Editors at DC dont seem to like that so much so I relented on the design.

I'm loving all the character designs, though some of their positions look a little awkward to me. The biggest offender is Superman, simply because he has such a presence on the sheet, yet his direction is so much in contrast to the great looking Batman, Shazam and Power Girl.
I personally feel they should all be looking largely in the same direction, or that the image would have more of a splash feel if the characters on the left hand side were looking left, center characters looking forward and characters on the right, glancing right. But it's just my personal opinion...and this will be pretty impressive if left as is upon completion...maybe even something I'd consider inking and coloring if at all possible.

Thanks, I am really happy with the Character Designs as well. Interesting points you bring up because this all started with Superman and Batman and moved out from there. I believe Wonder Woman was next then Powergirl Flash GL Capt Marvel... Its less of a splash and more of a "mural wall for warm ups that sometimes becomes more than warm up" type of thing. So I didnt really stress the continuity of scale. I was a little disappointed that Cap Marvel PG GL and Stargirl all had too similar of poses, but at the same time it works. Normally I would fix that as I was working but I am running on not enough sleep and fighting off migraines the past few days. Anyway, yeah let me know what you want to do with it when I am done or if you want to crop out a page and go... whatever.

I think I'll wait until it's done, it'll be a great challenge because I've never inked or colored anything of this magnitude before, and it looks like a fun one to practice my own skills on.
