Description
Common Name: Wraith
Scientific Name: Antitheus exilis (slender devil)
Length: 8 feet
Armspan: 20 feet
Weight: 170 pounds
Diet: Liquivore
Biology
Wraiths are apelike arboreal predators that, like many Freyian creatures, are hexapodal with 4 long slender arms and 2 short legs. Wraiths have hollow bones, and the density of their musculature and flesh is also porous, which makes them much lighter than they appear. When moving through the jungle canopy they grip branches using only their long fingers. On each of the wraith’s wrists are 2 spinnerets that produce are strong black silk that it uses to wrap and preserve its prey. It is blind but its head has several heat pits which helps it find prey. The unusual mouthpiece of the wraith is actually the barbed tip of a chameleon like tongue which can project over twice the wraith’s length. It uses this long tongue to impale prey and inject powerful paralyzing venom which also liquefies cocooned prey over a few days. The fur on its back gives off a sweet scent which it spreads throughout its territory to attract prey.
Habitat
Jungle regions
Hunting behavior
Wraiths are ambush predators. They move quietly through the jungle canopy spreading their sweet smelling hairs to lure prey to their territory. Because it has no eyes it uses its heat pits to track prey that enters its territory. Wraiths wait until their prey is occupied, for example when it’s feeding or sleeping, to strike. They stealthily move over the intended target and fire their barbed tongue, impaling and almost immediately paralyzing the prey with venom. The wraith then climbs down and cocoons the paralyzed prey in its black silk. It carries the cocoon high into the canopy and suspends it from a branch to allow the prey time to liquefy. Sometimes scavengers take advantage of this and steal some of the wraiths meal. The floating fungus known as proxies can often be found attached to wraith cocoons.
Description
Common Name: Proxy
Scientific Name: Putredine rufus (Red rot)
Length: 12 inches
Diet: Heterotrophic
Proxies are floating, bioluminescent, translucent, fungi-like creatures that are found in forest regions around Freyja. Proxies float through the air using their hydrogen filled bodies. They use a simple nervous system to search for corpses which they use for nourishment. Their outer shell is filled with taste receptors. Changing direction depends on special veinlike tubes that expel hydrogen to create thrust. After finding a corpse, Proxies rest on it and grow a spike that ejects acid to help it burrow into the corpse. Once inside, the proxy enters the next stage of its life cycle, which has the appearance of a translucent dome.

Hello my friend! That is such a cool creature!
I guess that's why some creatures get attract and got killed by that thing.
By the way, I haven't seen you in a while since the last time you created a cool looking wyvern. Glad your back!
