Thank you! It was my wife's idea, and the sea lion started as a seagull in flight just outta grasp from the jaws of the shark. It was my idea to put sea lion on the tip of the nose though

Yes that is very interesting, too.
For me being the shark is trying to take a bite at something (life/ambitions/goals etc) but it's still very much out of my reach but still visable in the end.
Well that's one interpretation but I like the dichotomy and symbolism.

My interpretation is by encountering fear we are at our most vulnerable, but this is just a tool to help us make life changing choices. After all, in the face of death, nothing else matters and what is left is who we truly are...
