Description UGLYUGLYUGLYPCTURE ...with no scanner I had to take the picture with my less then ideal laptop cam. I used some GIMP effects with the lighting... but still...

I haven't submitted anything in pathetically and embarrassingly long time. Even though I think this came out terribly it's less embarrassing then the...almost year of nothing from me. Anywhos...

There's story behind this character... but to avoid a huge block of text explaining everything, the long and short is that the character above is named Timothy Whittely. He's a big pacifist and is sickeningly idealistic but when someone he loves gets into a horrible accident and falls into a coma the only way to earn enough money for their recovery operation is to join a big alien alliance and serve in their military and do fight which is against everything he believes in. In this scene it appears in a heavy enemy offensive his side has been overwhelmed and has to retreat and Timothy has been separated in the madness.

Despite being overly nice Timothy is a very skilled marksman. He carries a semi automatic carbine rifle called a Squall DPW700 made by his race the Draizal. He is also very good at using the Storm Watch DR15 standard Draizal sidearm and the devastating MV (manual velocity) 9000 Typhoon Antimatter rifle which lives up to its name.

Anyways I keep wanting to put up more stuff inspired by Spore but I keep hating everything. But hopefully you'll see more Spore and Lost Before the Light works soon.

This is amazing how crowed the picture is and you cna still determine what is what. i can't do that so easily ._. me jelleh. and the way you work with pens is nice. i like your art >O you beat me on many levels. that you realise it or not!

Thank you! But I felt it was a bit too crowded looking.

"you beat me on many levels," oh pfft... really I'm not that good! But thanks anyways.

im serious! It IS crowed, but i can still determine what's what.
The only drawing that is crowed that i got sucess on is ''dungeon time'' with my group of friends. i usually end up having everything blended together in weird matters and we cant tell what's what annymore. and i also suck at drawing objects.

I try not to overcrowd my scenes but if I don't then I feel like it's too plain. But if a scene has lots going on it looks so much more lively I think.

Aw, poor Timmy. (Hugs) Looks really good for a picture taken with a laptop cam. The picture really carries the feeling of "oh man gotta get out of here!"

Oh trust me this is not a good camera image... it feels like it does everything in it's power to ruin the image. But thanks anyways.

This is pretty good but you could drop out the digital effects and them traditionally. Still it is a good work .

I opted for the lighting effects because the image quality was already ruined by the less then amazing camera on my laptop. I just kinda figured, "Eh... why not?" But thank you!

Experimenting  is always a good thing as long as you learn something from it.

That's true. Even if you fail you can still learn.

That's the only good part of failing.

I've mostly just been lurking around while still trying to comment on everything. I hope I haven't left anything uncommented on bu inbox is so full sometimes I miss stuff.

But thanks for checking this out! I haven't put anything up in too long... i'm glad you like the details and I certainly want to convey gritty and detailed worlds. I'm just worried that the quality got schmoozed when it I scanned it.
