What's that ship under the early Intrepid class starship? It kind of looks like and Earth class tug with a annular drive ring.

Yep, it's got a ring like the Vulcan ships. It's supposed to be a survey/science ship, much like all Vulcan ship. But owns by star fleet... That's one was converted by me to look more like the nx class, it was originally more constitution style.
