They're better than Star Trek Enterprise's ships for damn sure. I do not consider the show cannon, but that's just my opinion.

Enterprise is not even a consideration with my works here. TOS/TAS/TMP is the extent of on-screen canon for me

There are two TOS era designs of the USS Discovery on deviantart by nichodo and an axanar design by captshade.

I am loving nichodo's works for sure. And GTX-*** (I cannot recall his entire screeny). His Romulans War era designs may be tucked in with these soon.
