So yeah, HUFFLEPUFF DICK! (whole internet seems to be going through mood swings thanks to the DC reboot right now, figured something ridiculously chipper should help)

HUFFLEPUFF! Why Hufflepuff?

Gryffindor is well known for bravery, daring, nerve, and chivalry. Hufflepuff is well known for loyalty, fair play, honesty, and tolerance. Ravenclaw value wit, creativity, and wisdom. ‘ Slytherin value ambition, cleverness, cunning, resourcefulness, and pure-blood heritage.

LOYALTY, FAIR PLAY, HONESTY AND TOLERANCE.

Of all the robins, who does that sound like the most? Yeah, I know Dick is a daring brave chivalric guy, but then so are most of the other heroes, right?

What sets Dick apart is how PAINFULLY LOYAL he is to his friends and to Bruce. More than brave, more than daring, he is a noble generous heart who loves everyone and will never let a friend down even when they’re accused of murder *coughsBrucecoughs.* He is loyal, extremely hard working and yes…he’s good at finding things…like sulky siblings.

“Nobody cares about the Hufflepuffs!”

Well, once Dick became one, he swore, he’d MAKE everyone care.

So far, he’s doing good being the most popular/attractive/smartest/strongest quidditch player there is out there, more than likely he’ll be the Hogwarts champion next time the Triwizard tournament comes around. Hm, who does that sound like? *coughscedricdiggorycoughs* Naturally, the hufflepuffs adore him and in his seventh year he’s enjoying being the Head Boy and shepherding his house like a family of adoring little siblings (It’s a bit easier at school than it is at home where his younger siblings are at each other’s necks…but they’ve given him lots of practice!). Dick loves being at school, teasing his brooding father, the Head of Slytherin, and flirting with the cute new Transfiguration professor. Only 2 yrs older than him, she was able to teach him a useful trick before she graduated…FLYING.

(Is this getting too mary sue for you yet?)

YES. Dick has no equal on the broom, but the boy has other ways of keeping his feet off the ground. HE FLIES. Wasn’t easy since it took him about 7 yrs to learn, and thanks to Bruce’s rules, he doesn’t do it often, but when he does, he does it sooo beautifully. Could be the Romani blood in him, he does descend from a long line of seers/mystic dancers (rumor is one of them was part veela, but Dick tends to shrug at the suggestion when asked).
But yes, you’d think he’s really part bird or something!

Is it any wonder Dick has caught the eye of many people? But Dick doesn’t care, he just wants to do his best and share his bounty with everyone, especially his family who needs to smile more, starting with Bruce!
