Woot, I'm on a roll, two pics in one week!
This was done after I read people's comments and reviews on the season finale episodes of Avatar: The Last Airbender (which was last Friday). I couldn't resist, don't shoot me. A very simple pic, so it only took me the period of a day to do it. *singing*

I sort of agree. After all that Zuko has been through, you'd think he would be willing to follow his heart after he and his uncle went into hiding. I wished his story wasn't so convoluted. I mean we mostly see him as a villian or anti hero until near the end of the seriese. They could have done so much to the story in general if Zuko didn't revert back to his previous personality

To be honest, I loved the development in CoD. Allegiance changes in fiction often happen far too easily, but Avatar portrays that the path to Goodness is a ROCKY one and redemption is NOT easy. Besides, how badly Zuko screwed up back then just made his eventual heel face turn all the more poignant.

When a person has a lisp, they have trouble pronouncing certain letters in words. It has something to do with their tongue. For example when they say "stop it!" it may come out instead like "Sthtop itth!" This is an exageration btw, Zuko's lisp isn't that bad, but on occasion his lines do sound rather lispy.

An extremely late response to many prior comments:
#1: The Avatar state probably would've wiped the floor with Azula. She shot him before he seemed to actually be capable of doing anything.
It'd be like shooting Sailor Moon mid-transformation. It's playing smart, but it makes for a boring, quick finish.
#2: Zuko's a pretty decent person at heart, but he's divided between who HE is, and who he's expected to be. Accordingly he has constructed a facade that favored the culture of the Fire Nation. An accurate representation of the "real" Zuko is probably primarily found after he manages to be somewhat content in Ba Sing Se.
Yes, he did a stupid thing that was contrary to who he really is. But that's what he's been doing since the start of season one - and since he was banished. It's not really that big a surprise.
I expect he'll come around, though.

I freaking love the way Zuko talks, the broken lisp tone, so sexy. I also started watching 'american dragon' cus its the same voice actor...*waits for the shame to set in*.....yep, there it is..
