It's been far too long since I did anything related to my other series, Off the Deep End. Now that I've got more free time, I want to make a real effort to sell it somehow - it's lighter and more family-friendly, I think it's got a good shot.
My dream is still to be a syndicated comic strip artist, so I'm putting together a four-week sample batch to submit to actual publishers and see who's interested. This is week one, introducing the general public to Jamie, Spencer, Danielle, and Anjie, as well as the basic premise and the concept of underwater bubble-talk. I reworked a few older strips in this, but it's mostly new. The first week is always the hardest, but once you've established your world and your characters, you've got it made

Since following your gallery and gaining more of an understanding for all things aquatic, I'd definitely read this in a heartbeat. All the characters seem pretty well established and developed here

Are you sure there's enough of an audience for this concept? I can't really think of anyone who likes this sort of underwater business as much as you do.

OTDE has a lot of appeal and probably has the best shot at syndication. It's unique and has likeable characters.

I've missed this series so much. I love NNS, but there's just something about the way that you draw underwater stuff that makes me all happy and smiley inside. Love it!

Oh man, this was such a wholesome comic to read. I feel like Iβm actually a part of the family as I go. Love the underwater talking part, and I love how Spencer βruinsβ the fun by making it even more fun!
