I tried so hard to come up with a title that hadn't been done a million times before, but dang it...Anyway, as you might have guessed, this is another commission (the first of two) on behalf of , one of several "Hey Arnold" fans in my watchlist. And as you might also have guessed, it's based on the 1989 Disney classic The Little Mermaid, with Lila as Ariel and Arnold as Prince Eric. Can this relationship work in spite of the total lack of oxygen?
I tried to get a sort of hand-painted look in the backgrounds here, to make it look more Disney-esque. I don't have much experience painting in Photoshop, so it didn't turn out perfectly, but I still think it's pretty darn nice.

Plus, to me, seeing that you tried to make the drawing more Disney-esque, it was a phenominical success! However, my main peeve about this idea is that you mixed Hey Arnold with MY LEAST FAVORITE DISNEY ANIMATED FILM OF ALL TIME!!!!!!! And I'm as peeved for this idea as when I tried to watch "Say Uncle"!!!

Do you know what surprises me the most? If this wasn't based on The Little Mermaid, it would go against the show's canon! Anyway, I think you should add Helga as Ursula, just to make both sides of the metaphorical coin feel happier!

You know what? I think you have the accuracy down, and Chelleface90 has the comedy...I think that a crossover between both aforementioned Deviantarters would do the fanart justice!

Uh? Seemed to have missed this one... Looks like I didn't check your gallery quite thoroughly enough! (I've been checking galleries for the last 3-4 days - I'm thinking of just going nuts already, to save me the hassle...).
Bravo for the mermaid girl, she looks real cute. I never watch this show, but if the girl is half as cute as you have made her, I may have to reconsider!

Your painting looks alright from here; a lil' bit of practice goes a long way though. Now I'm picturing what Ariel will look like with freckles!
