I have to thank both Son-Void and UncleScooter for inspiring my contribution to MerMay this year. It's been far too long since I drew any Pokémon fan art anyway, so what better occasion to return? Misty is back in the tank at the Cerulean City Gym for another one of her famous underwater performances, and this time she's got a special guest - May, making her grand underwater ballet debut! Mer-MAY, get it? I couldn't resist

I approve of this. A LOT. This hits close to home for me. I love seeing May and Misty underwater so much, ever since I was 13.
You pulled this off wonderfully. I love May’s expression in this, how she’s not quite used to this environment...and neither are her lungs.
