Took a bit of an intermission between these, but now I've got the next entry to the Ask the OCs series done! Got another question from Mr-Herp-Derp , this time for Rei Mizushima. He actually asked a pretty interesting question that ties into how her family's ghost hunting practice works, so part of the wait involved brainstorming for an important aspect of Rei's character (and uh, making the left image look cool). Rei explains it quite decently in the image itself, but to add to some stuff she mentioned:

- Though Rei mentions that a ghost's power can determine the difficulty in detecting them, it's something only the Mizushima family (or those who train well enough in this field/have similar powers) can sense; normal people wouldn't be able to tell the difference.

- That said, B, A, and S-Tier ghosts, as they put it, are easier to locate, partly because their spiritual energy affects the environment in a way that even regular people can see the signs (sudden temperature drop, abnormal fog, ominous silence, etc.)

- While weaker ghosts are indeed harder to find because their energy leaves less of an impact on their surroundings (or not at all), they tend to gather in groups (meaning they can be easily found anyways), and many don't have the mental capacity to realize that Rei or any other member of the Mizushima family are capable of harming them. Ironically, sometimes they don't even exorcise the ghosts if they deem them to not even be a real threat; instead just roughing them up enough to chase them off, and then placing spell tags around the place to keep them from coming back.

- It does cost money to hire the Mizushima family to exterminate ghosts; naturally, the stronger the ghost(s), the higher the price. Obviously there's more to it for them than just making a ton of Coins, but they gotta pay for stuff somehow. Considering that an S-Tier ghost would be someone like the Shadow Queen however, you don't need to hire them for missions that dangerous (as the reason they began ghost hunting was to protect the land from such massive threats).

Another interesting bit you may have immediately picked up on is the flame on the tip of Rei's cowlick there. Whenever the Mizushima family enter battle, their aura flares to life; for group missions, this lets the others know that the target has been found and where they are. For Rei, her aura manifests itself as the aforementioned flame. The stronger the ghost she's fighting, the bigger and brighter it burns (in the example, she's fighting Bogmire; who the Mizushima clan would classify as B-Tier). However, this phenomenon also occurs if one makes her very angry; if her cowlick lights up, there is no denying that the provoker is about to catch a beating...!

Whew, ended up having a lot to say here...! At any rate, as always, hope y'all like the drawing! Hopefully the rest of what I have planned won't have you guys waiting so long!
