Description
The next human Pokemon series character to add to my gallery shall be Ethan, the male protagonist of "Pokemon 2" (how I refer to Pokemon Gold,Silver, and Crystal, as well as their remakes Pokemon HeartGold & SoulSilver)! Some may know him as "Gold" from his interpretation in the Pokemon Adventures manga or as "Jimmy" in the Pokemon Chronicles anime spin-off, but the remakes give him this name, which makes "Ethan" his official confirmed name. Aside from the name jargon, Ethan is a young boy from the Johto region, which rests on the same continent as Kanto. He not only gets twice as much Badges as the other protagonists in the series (a whopping sixteen!), but he's the only Trainer so far to successfully defeat Red in an all-out, no restrictions battle! So does that make Ethan the strongest Trainer in the series?! ......Well, you could choose to play as Lyra instead (or Kris if you played Pokemon Crystal), but most everyone, myself included, gives the credit to Ethan.

In my interpretation of him, Ethan is very friendly to people and Pokemon alike, traits that Professor Elm decided made him fit to train Pokemon of his own (as well as hold on to the Egg given to him by Mr. Pokemon). However, he also acts rather indifferent to certain things, such as Silver's harsh attitude or when Kris flirts on him. Ethan's starter Pokemon in my version of him is still a Cyndaquil, as I agree that does fit him and since all forms of media show him with one. I really like how my drawing of him came out, so I hope you guys like it as well!

Ethan is owned by Nintendo/GAME FREAK, Inc./The Pokemon Company/Creatures, Inc.

9/4/2023 Edit: Man, it's been forever since I last drew Ethan! And yet, out of all of my 2015 works, this one didn't age TOO bad...! I really oughta redraw him at some point, it's much overdue...! At any rate, thanks for giving this a look, but do please check out my newer stuff!
