Description For my first Pokemon-related picture, what better way to start off than with profile artwork of my favorite character from this series, Red!  He's the main protagonist of the first Pokemon games and the final boss of "Pokemon 2" (Gold/Silver/Crystal/HeartGold/SoulSilver), as well as the main character of the anime special, Pokemon Origins.  It goes without saying that Red is the strongest Trainer in the series; and that's not just opinion talking.  His Pokemon are the highest leveled of any CPU Trainer, his AI is notably smarter (he knows when he has to switch out), and his Pokemon have good moves on them.  He was also in the Pokemon World Tournament in Pokemon Black & White 2, classified as a Champion (well he technically is one).  Also, he was in Super Smash Bros. Brawl, and I hope he returns for the next one!  Come to think of it, his Pokemon are probably at level 100 by the time of Pokemon X & Y; I guess he's just living a normal life at home now?  Or is he trying to complete the National Dex?  Which do you guys think it is?

Red is owned by Nintendo/The Pokemon Company/GAME FREAK, Inc./Creatures, Inc.

Well, he's not in SSB4.
Only his Charizard is.

Yep, figured that out by now.  Supposedly it's because the 3DS can't keep up with transformations like the Wii U probably can, and they want to keep the roster consistent.  They apparently had to make a few sacrifices in order to achieve that, but at least we also have Greninja, one of my newest favorite Pokémon!

Exactly. I heard Sakurai had trouble implementing the Ice Climbers, too.
But with Rosalina and Luma in the game, maybe he sorted that problem out.

Maybe so; though Luma's data may be easier to implement than a whole other character with the same attributes as their tag partner.
