Just another, better version of my Egyptian Link--one of the entries I submitted for *hibbary 's art contest way back.I just wanted to go back and spruce him up. I think he looks much nicer in this version.

Well I did have a back story behind each of my different versions of Link. The description should state as much. But maybe a story, who know? Possibly some yaoi as well.

I like it! After Link has been to the desert all the time, I never thought about what he'd look like as an Egyptian warrior! I like the weapons; I kinda wish I could see it in action. I'd have thought he'd use a khepesh (an Egyptian sword). It's really cool!

I never even heard of a khepesh. Maybe if there are people who want it, I could draw an action scene with Link with actual Egyptian weapons. lol

You're welcome. I didn't think you'd even like my comment. Thank you. A picture like that would be awesome. You're very good. As far as I know a khepesh is a real egyptian sword, but my only sources so far are a fictional book by Rick Riordan called the The Red Pyramid and a video game where the egyptian swordsman are all called khepesh. Anyway, yeah.

well I colored him digitally first with a black and red ensemble--to match more of the Gerudos there. But then it felt weird, so I re-colored him in pencil crayon and turned out WAY better I think.

yeah I figured that he needed a re-vamping of the old version, plus I had drawn the other three and colored them with pencil crayons, so this needed a new look as well.

That's such a unique idea. You handled it well. I love your color job, and his weapons and outfit look great. (What do you color with?) Excellent job. Everything turned out great. I especially like the red marks on his face.

Thanks for the nice comment. I use prismacolor pencil crayons--they work wonders!
