Something I originally scratched out on a scrap peice of paper on a lunch break at work, later went back and redrew the whole thing.One of my personal favorites.

Wow, so cool! It has a real raw gritty feeling, but I can imagine how it must have looked all shiny and clean off the assembly line once.

Yeah was around that time too, sure that was a little influence on the design.

As a child it was my dream to be a giant robot pilot...... stunted only by the delay in tecnological advances (sigh).

Yeah all these "realistic" mecha projects going either don't look like they will EVER work or don't work like they are billed to. Like a mech design I saw a vid on it was billed as a waller warrior robot mecha (thing?) and all it did was slide/glide its feet like some cheap windup toy from the 50's and looked like ED-209's(we all know how that robot mech turned out) sucky prototype with human control added in at the last minute.

Whoa that is really great. It reminds me of the heads of the VF-1A Valkyrie Fighters from macross.
