Description
I have officially killed Explorers of Space.It is dead now.
I don't want to make it anymore.
I know that not all of you reads my journals, so I made this to make sure everyone got the message.
It may look all comedic, but in fact this was a hard decision for me, because this has been an ongoing project in all of my teen years.
- Yeah, other teens go out partying, getting drunk, taking drugs and lose their virginity. But you know... those things never really appealed to me anyways.
I don't feel that my time was wasted though, even if I never finished... I've improved greatly because of this project, and I don't regret spending all that time on it.
7 years sounds like a lot, but then again, I didn't work as hard as I should have.
Some of you were following and inspired by my comic/novel, and I'm sorry that I'm not able to finish it.
But I can't just keep saying "I'll make it soon" to buy more time, when I'm not even working on it anyways.
There is so many things I had planned for my novel that you won't get to see, and that's the saddest part of ending it like this.
I feel like I need to make something to conclude it "properly", but not something that I'll have to force myself to work on, or it just won't be made.

I kinda figured that mouthy grass-type was going to be sacrificed, or the dark dude that everyone seems to hate/could-care-less-about.
I'm a new reader and was impressed with the story. I'm sad to see it will never be finished, but I understand and am not actually that upset. May you continue creating, m'lady.

Well, my comic-thing is based on the game Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Explorers of Sky (aka. the best PokemonΒ game ever created) It's like a sequel so it's encouraged that you've played the game since my comic includes spoilers ^^'
I'd like to work on giving my readers a quick conclusion anyway. Might be a video or something.

The game sounds interesting, but I haven't played any pokemon games since I was in elementary. I've only seen the pokemon series, and that's slowly degrading when it comes to quality. Though I love the idea behind PMD, I've even got a story running around in my head that fairly interesting. Don't know if I'll ever write/finish it.

I've actually had to drop quite a few projects, because I'm going to college and don't have access to drawing programs like I used to. I also know that making comics can be tiring... I have to do mine traditionally now, so I can understand your position a bit. But truly, your comics and art have been a huge inspiration to me. You showed us how awesome Dusknoir is, and now I want to get him more involved in my stories.
If you're ever in a PMD mood, though, remember that you can always do a sketch or two. Ending a comic doesn't mean your characters no longer exist. Or, you can lock them up forever. That's the beauty of art.
I'm sure you will ^^ you're a talented artist, and I'm sure I'll continue to be inspired by you.

It's a difficult decision to make, but if in the end it's better then go through with it. It's your life and your decision to draw what you want. I personally will miss it, but I respect the decision. I hope whatever you do have planned in the future is something you enjoy

I actually am on the opposite side of that spectrum, as blinding yourself to reality can be one of the most dangerous things you can do. Reality is harsh, but it's what is the truth of the world, and not facing it can cause quite the problems when someone gets tired of it and decides to throw it at you (a lot of people have given me shit because I told them the truth and they didn't like it. Also nothing wrong with a nice conversation on philosophy X3).

Well of course being naive is dangerous... but listening to the news only gives me depression. I hate thinking about all the problems in the world that I can't do anything about. I prefer not to know about it. I'd rather be ignorant and happy. Maybe I'm not blinding myself for reality, but more of isolating myself from it
But I'm lucky not to have any friends who try convince me about being more adult, because I probably wouldn't listen to them~

I'm the same in that regard. I'd rather just block the world out and remove myself from all the drama and problems. I still try to follow it, just quietly.
Never hurts to get feedback about one's behavior, but yes, being told to grow up for certain reasons isn't okay (I can go on about stories involving that X3).
Spontaneous isn't a bad thing. Impulsive is though. I'm sure you're fine though :3
