Description Probably you will find the title rather bewildering. Indeed there is no direct link to this picture of a tulip field, taken near Urk/The Netherlands on 10th April 2007.
The link concerns the date. Today, on 10th April 2009, it is two years ago that I bought my Nikon D80 at Urk. This shot was taken on the way home.
Those who have followed my work since then, might remember my initial uncertainties about the Nikon colours, but that is long since a matter of the past.
Today I can look back with great pleasure to what this camera has enabled me to do. Most of my work has been made with this camera since then, and it has proved a most valuable and trustworthy tool. Let us hope it will still hold out for some more time.

That's great! Congrats with the 2-year aniversary of your camera
And thank you for all the beautiful, awesome and stunning photographs you have made with it in those two years... By capturing the beauty you see, and sharing it, you add to the beauty of my world - and the world of many others too!

Thank you!

And I love this tulip field shot ... The right time for it to go out and shoot, isn't it... Maybe they'll be just a little later, this year

Many, many thanks for your delightfully supportive reaction. It really warms my heart! And it helps to stimulate me to go out again and again. Indeed, I most often do not find it easy to rise at 6.30 am and then take my bike, but the knowledge that I might find a beautiful spot, make a good shot and can share it with you all, has been a great help again and again.
Great that you like this shot. Yes, I wonder when to go out for another tulip field shoot. After all that is a matter of taking the car and going further away. Perhaps in the last week of April?

We did go today, the area of Lisse... it's mostly narcisses and hyacint fields we saw flowering now, but some tulip fields too, already... It's worthwile, and indeed , it will still last some weeks...
Yes, and definitely, it's worthwile to get up this early, for the awesome pics you take!

I prefer to go to further north. It is so crowded at Lisse. Well, we shall see. In any case many thanks for the info. And once again for the delightful support.
