Description
Another shot from that dreamlike morning two days ago on the grounds of the country-house of Groeneveld near Baarn in the Netherlands. The sun had just risen and coloured the hoarfrosted trees in its early-morning light.Cf. also a shot just submitted on my lightthinkerΒ΄s gallery:

Erg herkenbaar allemaal als je uit de omgeving komt. Echt te gekke foto's! Helaas ontbreekt het me nog aan een goede camera en tijd want anders..... Hoe kom je trouwens aan zo'n zwart randje om je foto's? Doe je dat voor je ze op deze site zet of kan dat achteraf ook nog?

Leuk dat je de fotoΒ΄s zo waardeert. - Het randje doe je met photoshop. Maar dat moet je iemand uitleggen terwijl je het doet. Van hier is dat te ingewikkeld. Achteraf kan het niet.

Dat dacht ik al.. Dat programma ken ik want ik heb met mijn nichtje in Australie met een waanzinnig duur foto shop programma gewerkt. Zij heeft een tijdje gewerkt als fotograve. Ik moet zelf nog even zo'n programma zien te regelen, ( net als een echte camera! ha ha) maar dan kom ik er wel uit. Het maakt een foto net even wat meer af. Is foto's maken je werk of hobby? En hoe lang doe je het al.. Ik heb echt al je foto's bekeken en dat waren er errug veel. Echt, als ik toch eens meer tijd en geld zou hebben.. dan lag ik ook om 6am te wachten op die ene fantastische shot! ha Ha

Sometimes I could use pictures like this for photomanipulation, but then again, these are so beautiful that they are better just as they are.

Een erg mooi foto! De wereld was ook net een sprookje. Ik was helaas iets te laat op om de zon zien op te komen, maar ben daarna uiteraard ook met de camera op pad gegaan.

Thanks a lot still for your wonderful reactions! I was not very well, so I am very late in going through my messages.
Actually I use a zoom-lense, 18-200 mm. As it stood on 26 mm here, it was quite wide-anglish. And then the scene does look wider as I often crop the pictures a bit, taking out a bit of the foreground or the sky, whatever is fitting. That does give a wider impression.

Hele mooie foto, het weer was inderdaad heel speciaal de bomen waren gewoon he-le-maal wit.
Ik heb er gelukkig ook een paar kunnen nemen want het ging al heel snel weer dooien.

beautifu...i wish to capture these colours here too, but now mornings are so foggy that you don't see any sun. and it's snowing now (there was freezing rain before that so it's dangerous outside), maybe it clears tomorrow so i can take my tripod in the front yard...i'm ill so i can't go any farther

I am very sorry to hear about you being ill. Hopefully you will be better again soon! - As to frost and sun, we had one marvellous hoarfrost day and a slightly misty one, both with sun, and two days without sun. So all sorts of shots were possible. And I took endless numbers of them.
Have a good Christmas! And hopefully some good opportunities for pictures soon again.
