Description
Yes, these sunbeams were gone just a few minutes later this morning, as a big cloud bank moved in and hid the sun for nearly all day. So I had been just in time.Taken near the Horneboeg Heath at Hilversum/The Netherlands.

Fortunate timing! There must be something different in the air where you live; we don't seem to get sunbeams like that nearly as often!

Unfortunately no sunbeam morning today after all!

Yes, due to the wetness here it is probably more often hazy. And you must not have wind. The sun, however, can be the lacking factor. But fortunately we had it this morning, at least for some time. I was lucky and very glad to be at this spot just in time.
Tomorrow morning there seems to be a reasonable chance again. Hopefully I can push myself out of bed in time.

Gosh! This is uncanny - I was somewhere similar today - with equally as ethereal light - felt like I was chasing elusive shafts of sunlight in a Scottish forest all morning.
This is STUNNING!
Hope mine turn out to be half as good!
