"As I stood on the precipice of newly obtained territory, I watched this whole scene unfold not through a telescreen but with my own eyes; as close as a Grand Siege Commander can near a warzone. It was then that I understood my true purpose in life; it was not simply to cleanse the Galaxy of all enemies of the Goddess, but to do so with grace and beauty. Witnessing such a vast spectrum of colors and lights form just from the simple destruction of useless cultures and opposition taught me a vital truth;
that war could be beautiful."

If you're somewhat familiar with my account, you may have noticed EMPYREA artwork; this is a project I started during the Pandemic that was sort of inspired by warhammer40k in that I love the idea of different looking factions waring over the galaxy in the unfathomably far future. This piece is sort of a big celebration of all the lore I had drafted for myself combined into one. Each is a different major faction that plays a role in the overarching story. The main tagline of the series is "War could be beautiful" alluding to the colorfulness and brightness of the visual aesthetic. In truth, the wars in this story are nothing but brutal and horrific as trillions across millennia are subjected to endless bloodshed with weapons often beyond understanding. The contrast of these two elements is what appeals most to me about this series: that it can be both visually beautiful and conceptually disturbed.

I do have a google doc that detail the lore but it's like 70 pages long, if you have any questions about anything just point it out and I'll provide context. Otherwise, the plan for this piece is to eventually print it out and hang up on my wall, like what I did with the SH!FT picture. I may do more EMPYREA stuff in the future but for now this is kinda it.
