ok so I wasnt gonna post up these pics but suggested it and I thought what the heck I'll do it (yes most things I do on here is a "what the heck" type of instinct)
Anywho this pic was for a contest on our doll fourms, it was a disney contest and it had to be from a scene in one of the disney films. I had to pick the little mermaid but the problem was that it HAD to be an obitsu.
So I just grabbed a spare red head, body, tail, and shell bra. and wa la we have the mermaid 
if your wondering what scene its from the movie, its the scene right after she sings part of ur world after she saves eric.

what doll originally owned the tail?
I used to have the doll with that tail when I was younger, and have been trying to track down a new one for YEARS.

the tail originally came from the Mattel's Basic Ariel doll from 1997. heres a pic of her [link]

yeah its teh speical gift edition one I believe. the tail is worn out cuzt I got it used by its self in a doll clothing lot.

Hey I have that little mermaid tail!! I used to put it on my barbies when I'd play in the bathtub!

hah yeah I think thats why I like it so much. Oh I took the pic by my pool XD there's rocks around the pool to make it look like a lagoon, I thought it would be perfect spot for her to pose

Cool idea, I kinda thought it might've been a pool but I wasn't sure. I like it when pools have natural rocks lined around it. The pic came out great by the way, you should do more like this

Is that just a fabric tail or did you actually dismember the obitsu and add a tail?

its a fabric tail ^-^ although I have seen a prototype of an obitsu tail. not very poseable but its still cute X3
