FINALLY IT IS COMPLETED!!!! For the past 2 ta 3 years I've been working on a special custom little mermaid project. And now, I am happy to announce that it is FINALLY completed!!!! Just in time for the little mermaid re-release this year!!
For the longest time I wanted to make my own Ariel and Eric dolls and try to make them both poseable and identical to the movie. I also wanted to recreate the memorable scenes from the movie! both Ariel and Eric are wearing clothing I personally customized and made!
The grotto was the MOST challenging this in this project. It stands 15.5 inches tall and 20 inches wide purely made of ceramic clay. It look a lot of time but it was extremely worth it! ^-^ when it came to taking photos I added many props from various animated films. I even made the dancing figure from the part of that world scene!!!
Special note: there are many things hidden in ariel's grotto including items from sailor moon, tenchi, disney films, various animated films and more!!!!

The funny thing is that I wanted to do something like this with my lion king collection XD But I'm not as skilled as you, it'll take me ages to recreate scenarios XD

yeah it took me ALONG TIME especially dealing with how big it is and how to replicate the grotto in the film to scale with a 1/6 doll. Ooooo really? like pride rock? that sounds cool!! I bet you could make one!!!

Yeah yeah, I'd like to recreate the movie using my figures (I have a big collection including some priderock figures, Rafiki's tree...), so I'm looking for trees, I'm customizing some figures with clay/painting to make characters from the sequel, like Zira... X3

Oh yeah!! and many more theres the figures Quazi made of him and esmerelda, mulan's sword, aladdin's lamp, cinderella's shoe, And other films like Kayle's Shield from Quest for camalot, Odette's necklace, Anastasia's hat, tiny Thumbelina doll I made. I even have anime like sailor moon cresent wand, chibi moons twinkle bell, tenchi's sword, Cardcaptor sakura's wand..I think that's it lol
