Just keep in mind that Misty's 10 in that episode so if you want to go for her, you may need to register as a pedophile first.
That being said, yeah, she definitely looks good, and she wasn't designed specifically for fanservice in mind, unlike her replacements unfortunately. Honestly, replacing her was a huge mistake. I've been fighting to bring Misty back since 2006, and let's hope she actually does return. You might remember me from those Bring Misty Back clubs, Jczala, Weedle McHairybug?

If James doesn't dress up in the episode, this episode would have never been banned. And if it wasn't for Team Rocket, Misty might of won the contest. I wish she did. Because she is my favorite character.

To be fair, it's implied that she did in factΒ win the contest in the Japanese version, since Delia and Oak mentioned they were going to save the trophy for the actual winner to retrieve it, and besides which, Moe's cabana was repaired (and the only reason Misty even participated in that swimsuit contest in the first place was to pay off the debts to repair the cabana). Granted, it was likely that she basically managed to win by default due to Team Rocket attacking the premises, but on the other hand... the only reason she didn't win without winning by defaultΒ in the first place was because James in effect cheated, using those infamousΒ inflatable boobs and cross-dressing, so she probably was actually going to be the genuine winner either way.

Actually, I think it was pretty clear that Misty did in fact win. After all, Delia and Professor Oak mentioned they were going to save the trophy in the Japanese version for the actual winner, and considering Misty, Brock, and Ash were free to go and the cabana was fixed (remember, for most of the episode, Moe had them working to pay off debts after they accidentally wrecked the cabana of his restaurant by crashing their boat into it, and the only reason Misty even entered the swimsuit contest in the first place was to get the prize money necessary to pay him off, and her monologue made very clear she didn't wish to participate at all), that should make very clear who the winner actually was.

I remember that episode. Seeing Misty in swimwear was pleasant, same as with Jessie. Seeing James in a bikini, however...that was hilarious.

That episode had some amazing moments, from when Ash realizes that Misty was a girl, to the part where she is in the beauty contest.
But they (4Kids Entertainment) cut out the best part of that episode, James with boobs...
And like, it was not a bad episode at all, well for us who know all about Ecchi and Japanese Anime culture it was really normal for us.
