Description
As I mentioned in the other posts, the endgame of my envisioned Metroid series was Mother Brain's final evolution into the ultimate Alpha Metroid form, which I assumed was the dragon figure I'd seen in other promo material (Ridley). The dragon Mother Brain would nearly kill Samus but be stopped by the awesome Dr. Gerald Dere. The plot was supposedly that Dr. Dere was associated with the original Metroid project and had a plan for killing all of them. Samus saved him, but then with the match-up with Mother Brain came along, Dr. Dere needed to suit up in a self-designed suit of armor and back Samus up. There was some additional battle where Mother Brain transferred into a shapeshifting Metroid that tried to replace a wounded Samus, but I never drew a full picture of that.

This picture is pretty special to me independent of the FanArt reasons. My older brother asked me to draw something for his dorm, and my other older brother (I have like five siblings) had recently given me a poster-sized pad of paper. It was the first time I was able to draw on such a huge scale. and I loved it. The picture even ended up getting laminated, so I was very proud of it, and it's followed me around in my time at college, university, and now in my adult life. (This is actually a photograph of the picture, not a scan, if that was not evident.) There's some pretty big problems, obviously (those fingers are cringy, and WTH would a dragon have teeth on their tongue), but I have fond memories of it.
