I'm not really sure if this complies with the idea of the contest and whether it would be useful for actual use, but I still like the idea. I think the nose could probably use more work, Shrek has a very wide troll-like nose.

Ah yes, I figured that for myself! 
Still, this was developed (not posted) before the contest started, so I just thought I might as well contribute it under the Emote-your-emoticon category, instead of just submitting it as a regular emoticon. It has little chance of being picked, but since there's an emoticon contest at the time anyway, why not still take that tiny chance, right? But it's really to take part that matters!
However, I made sure my other entries would have more of a chance than this one! Thanks for the critic, we DO need to know where we fall short sometimes!

As 'diamondie points out below, and I agree, this isn't really a practical emoticon, so I can imagine why not. How often do you need an emoticon of an ogre?
