I hated Xenoblade before, having found the original to be the most overpraised piece of crap I've ever played, but this just piledrives it even lower than filthy casual franchises like Animal Crossing.

Ah, a bit of a shame you see it that way. That's probably my bias talking since I've played XBC1 and 2 and I've had tons of fun. I know they aren't everyone's cup of tea though, and it'd actually be criminal to say they don't have problems.

Thank you for this. I'm trying not to fly off the handle, because I have deep trust for Monolith Soft, but I have started an altar to "Please give me fashion gear, because I need to change this character's outfit immediately." Their faces, those are almost as funny as the words, nice.

I do hope we get some alternate outfits for Pyra somehow. I've sorta begun to tolerate most of her base design. Mostly.Β
Her eyes are doing her no justice, though thankfully some other artists give her proper facial proportions

Seriously. Why does a Blade need boobs? And a non-existant layer of armor? Is this meant to be some sort of metaphor? Beautiful Blade? Shamelessness?
Well, I can't rightly understand it. I couldn't understand the Lin controversy, but this may as well stamp fan service on the characters lower back. There is no need in a character from a series like THIS to look so... naked. It's just tacky.
This actually has a reason to be changed, unlike that boobs bar thing from X. Honestly, I think an intricately designed armor with a powerful look to it feels better to look at in a game... even if the one in the armor is just looking good. Now my eyes are just gonna be looking anywheres but the combat. o.o;
And god help me if she has to eventually become a party member and FIGHT like that. Ya can't tell me that was an artistic design choice, because the MALE blades seem to have full armor or are just inhuman in appearance. Either way, if this's the case, better give me choice of armor. I already want to change Rex's booty shorts. Thankfully, that seems likely, since every previous Xenoblade has had multiple armors.

I know. But some guys have tried to justify the god-awful clothing designs because "it's a different culture". ... It's not anything to do with that.
