Issei-san!So HighschoolDxD's protagonist has arrived at last!
I was aiming to show an Inner strength, Resolve of some kind in his expression--not really sure how that came out
Unfortunately, somewhere along the way I messed up with my masking which left a tiny white line around the outside of the line art--and it was too late to turn back to fix it properly.
This meant brushing up to the lines with the BG colour, which didn't turn out so well and that led to re-doing the outer Line art again, this sort of makes him 'pop' a little off the BG but it wasn't intended

Pawn & Bishop are probably my favourites of the set I think they turned out pretty well but i think thats mostly due to the fact I wasnt trying new things or just going through a learning process with those two.
Unlike most of my work that is me inking other people's art, these pieces were mine and hand drawn from the sketching to building up until the final lines that were vectored.
Actually quite proud of these!
