Description
So I decided to make a headshot of Ruby Rose, emulating the style of the official anime art shown when RWBY first appeared. I always thought that art of Ruby made her look more distant and stoic that she turned out being. Just to make it clear, I love our adorkable Ruby, I just find it interesting that the art gives me a different vibe that the Rose in the show.

The making of:
So after drawing in pencil then ink, I scanned it to my computer where I used Paint. Net and Paint Tool Sai. This was the first time I got to work with the watercolor brush to get a hang of blending. I really hope I can get used to blending more in future art.
