That is one of the geekiest things I've seen in a while and I love it!
The quote in the artist's comments really made it all the more awesome.

The world needs more geeks. It really does...
Very nice concept, although it is quite obviously manipulated. That's not a bad thing but I'd like to see it for real in summer...or something

Wow. Massive amount of CA on the lines! You should either have removed that or added some to your numbers.
I'm definitely looking forward to more geeky concepts! XD

CA? I either don't do digital work enough to know the acronym or am just bad with acronyms
hehe

Chromatic Aberrations. That's when you get purple or blue fringing at high contrast transitions in the picture. It is caused by a lens having different diffraction characteristics for different wavelengths. It doesn't have anything to do with digital or analog. [link]

*SteveRiker's right.
Though binary is also base 2. Most cultures use base 10 since humans have 10 fingers and toes. So when we add up to 10, we carry over. So 9+1=10. In base 2, you carry over when we add up to 2. So 1+1=10 (it's not ten, it's more like one-zero). In some cultures, they use base 8, so 8+1=10. Our time is based off of a weird form of base 60, which is why when you add a second to 60 seconds, you get 1 minute. etc

Its a numerical coding sequence that is basically the language computers work in. Binary codes make up letters and such on a computer interface.
