Technical & Historical Notes: Rb Stands for Rüstungsbrecher, or armor breaker in German, which is exactly what this MS was designed to do. Designed w/ the same one strike mentality of the MS-18E Kampfer, it has similar weapons to the Kampfer but has re-designed w/ much heavier armour. The Rb was intended to fight heavily armored machines like the NT-1 ALEX & FA-78 Series machines as well as serve as a breakthrough unit designed to punch holes in enemy lines. To that end, the armour is heavy & layered, w/ a thinner ablative outer layer to defuse beam or explosive weapons. The inner layer is Luna Titanium, making this prototype one of very few Zeon MS to use that material during the OYW. The new armour is well shaped for deflecting projectiles and solid obstacles, while the shoulders are shaped as striking surfaces for ramming attacks. It has much more internal volume for fuel but uses it up just as fast as the Kampfer due to the increased weight of the armour. Only one of the Rb was produced by altering an existing Kampfer.

Armaments & Equipment: 60mm Vulcan Gun: An uncommon feature on Zeon MS, the PanzerKämpfer has two Vulcan Guns in the head similar to Federation's mobile suits. Beam Saber: The PanzerKämpfer has two beam sabers stored under the forearm armor covers for rapid deployment. ZUX-197 Jagdgewehr 192mm Shotgun: Specifically designed for assault-type MS, this weapon is of the same type as the one used by the MS-08TX Efreet . It has a 9-round capacity w/ known ammunition including slugshot, luna titanium 00 buckshot, & MS-use birdshot (BB shot). It can be loaded via pump-action, or automatically by an electric mechanism. The Kämpfer is capable of carrying two of these shotguns, one stored on the rear waist armor, while the other is carried in the hands. 360mm Giant Bazooka II: A redesigned version of Dom series' 360mm Giant Bazooka, w/ improved shape charges & firepower. Fed by a 5-round magazine, it is effective in both anti-ship & anti-MS combat, w/ a single round blowing off a MS' torso easily. The Kämpfer can be equipped w/ two Bazookas, & they are stored on its back when not in use. 3-Tube Missile Pod: optional leg mounted weaponry, uses a more powerful rocket then those other Zeon MS. Battle Hawk: The Battle Hawk's total length is three times that of the normal heat hawk. When its heated blade is combined w/ the kinetic energy used to swing the weapon, a terrifying destructive power can be produced that is suitable for use against hardened targets like the NT-1 ALEX. The long haft gives both reach & leverage for attacks, and the handles can be locked together for use as a double headed axe. The PanzerKampfer is intended to duel wield these to combat multiple opponents, keeping them at a distance. The long hafts are intended for fly by attacks, using the energy from the entire suit concentrated on the cutting edge, making them capable of slicing a GM down the middle in one stroke. the axe can be reversed and used to hook the legs of a MS or as a hammer. Chain Mine: The Chain Mine was a number of disc-shaped mines connected to each other by flexible cable. Each mine had magnetic claws on its underside, allowing it to be attached to objects. The Chain Mine could be thrown out like grenades one by one, laid on the ground or fixed to a building as a mine, or (most destructively) attached to a single enemy & detonated. Buster Shoulders: The new shoulder armor has three large teeth designed to crush armor & deflect solid or physical attacks. Weapons Racks: Mounted on several points on the PanzerKämpfer are weapon racks which are used to mount various weapons when not in use, and can be ejected when expended.
