A pencil drawing that has been colored in Photoshop- made April 24 2007.A pair of merpeople out swimming about. The initial drawing was made after seeing 's picture here: [link]
And now that they're colored, dang if the guy doesn't look like the Sub Wolveriner or something.

... Yeah I'm gonna be upfront, the female merperson looks awful. The anatomy is completely unbelievable, especially the downright painful way her spine is contorted and how her breasts don't actually seem connected to her body. And how do you explain her nipples honestly showing through the starfish? I'm pretty sure marine animals aren't skin-tight.

I gotta say, those merfolk are very different from man, in fact the only similarity is the skin color(though my merpeople have other skin colors besides greenish). My merfolk(merrows as I like to call them) are more like the cassical depiction of mermaids except they are not the typical cut and paste sort, their fish half is more blended with their human half and scales cover certain parts of their bodies. Plus they don't have webbed hands, though they do have several pairs of fins on their tails and have a set of fins on each of their forearms, making them look more feral.

Great pic! He's definitely a bit Wolveriney, but that's cool! She looks great too and has impressively perky boobs (although I suppose they're underwater so they'd be quite buoyant, wouldn't they?). Personally I like the colouring and the green tones used across the whole pic - makes it seem more realistically under the sea.
