Description This is some noodling around with proportion, after asked about the subject. I hope this is useful for him.

thanks will use this for some ideas on my new book, ( Drawing the human form and mechanisms of seeing) (Amazon) Release in March. (Of course just for some ideas of inspiration.) I think you need to write some 3d muscle books and make them fun like your figures.

Thanks...but I couldn't read the names of the bodybuilders you used as examples or the numbers you used on the side view example, even on maximum view...can you help me out with that?

If you hit the download button you should be able to read them a bit better.
Bodybuilders reffered to are Melissa Dettwiller, Tatiana Butler, Annie Riveccio in the first row, and Detwiller again and Roxie Rain in the second row.

OK, but now I'm having trouble with trying to get side view lengths of the B/W/H and ribcage. I used the oval circumference formula...but somehow the numbers don't look right...
