Art trade with ! I had the pleasure of drawing her very beautiful character, Aureo! :')

For this piece, I wanted to try a new way of doing lineart and shading/lighting. I've been following some very talented artists whose art styles have greatly inspired me to improve, and I hope my effort here shows such! I used a brush with a rougher texture and tried to soften my cell shading, amongst other little things..

I also tried for a really detailed bg, but wasn't happy enough with the progress to post it with the main artwork ;'D I really, really need to get better at backgrounds though..
