Indiana Jones is one of the most iconic characters in cinema history and Harrison Ford is my favourite actor of all time. I've really wanted a 6 inch scale Indy for the longest time, but between the scarce availability of the exclusive Disneyland figure and the horror stories and high price tag associated with the recent Figma release, I wanted to try making one myself. This was much, much harder than I imagined it to be. Started with a Black Series Han Solo base. Dremelled off the hair and resculpted it. Swapped out the lower arms for those from a Star Trek '09 Chekov and the lower legs and shoes for that from a Mattel Movie Masters Ghostbusters Venkman. Sculpted the buttons, pockets and other details onto the shirt. The jacket came from, ironically enough, Greedo, with sculpted-on lapels, pockets and other details. The hat was a big headache. Originally I started out with the hat from a Raphael in Disugise figure from the new TMNT movie but no matter what I did it was way too big, so I wasted $15 on that figure. Finally settled on the hat from a Super Powers Joker, which I had already used for my Question figure, heavily modified. Revolver was from Jonah Hex, as was the holster. Satchel was from ML Longshot; been saving it for Indy. Whip was from a DC Collectibles New 52 Catwoman. Thanks for looking!
