Description A pencil sketch of a decaying and nightmarish horse. I drew influence again from my recent reading of Lord of the Rings, for this is how I imagine the wraiths horses to be. Decaying and half dead, as much fierce creatures as their riders.

This will eventually will be coloured either digitally or manually, haven't decided yet. I know I'm as fantastic with pencil work as some people (*cough Kez cough*) but I thought this worthy of my gallery...for me at least! LOL

Beautiful... I love the pencil shading... it looks so fierce and stunning. The spikes and the tongue... wow. Fav for sure.

You're fantastic with pencil work that's what you are Kez! I just realised I made a massive error in my little description...I sound so egotistical and up myself. It's meant to read I know I'm NOT as good with pencil work! Eiieee! Love those typos eh?

I just really imagined them as decayed and tortured as their riders, more influenced by Tolkien than an actual, correctly referenced image of them. But wouldn't it be cool if they looked like this?

This looks amazing. I really how how it's not really 100% horse, with the tongue and the tail, and decaying and everything... With armor and a saddle( ), it's a perfect wraith's horse

in my opinion it's great! I love it when ppl draw how they imagine a character from a book to be. I think it looks really good. If I were you, I'd go for traditional coloring cuz I think digital would lose some of the quality.

it said in the book that they were real horses, not wraith horses.. and why would they have cloven hooves anyway? lol it looks like it's about to tip over any second
