Oh, and yeah. Obviously I dramatically shrink those 1200 dpi line art after I clean them up. Works great.

I've tried to draw with the Wacom tablet.
BOY HAVE I FREAKIN' TRIED BUT MY DRAWINGS LOOK LIKE FREAKIN' MICHAEL J. FOX DREW THEM.
So instead now I draw on paper and scan it in Black and White mode at 1200 dpi and only use the Wacom tablet for touch ups and coloring. Hey, it works best for me, anyway. I've never been so productive.
My apologies to Mr. Fox and everyone else with Parkinsons... MARTYYYY!!!

That's pretty close to how I used to do it! But since I lost my scanner to the horror of outdatedness and falling-over-and-getting-damagedness, I've been doing everything digitally.
