how did you create the three shadow layers? 3D? Gradient?

three shadow layers? hmm...well, i selected the base color layer, the circle.
then i contracted by 2, and feathered by 2. did a circular gradient from black to transparent, with reverse checked, then went from bottom to top. i hope this is what you mean...?
