I don't know WHY we need a goddam preview image now, or if i'm screwin it up, regardless, here is my latest, it is final because I don't want to work on it any longer, i have too many other ideas in my head and this is just inerferring. I'm gonna try to submit this as a GIF, but who knows what the hell DAv3 will post it as....Related content

oh this is awesome. escher's work is bound to be repeated. it's really well done. good on you for choosing this concept, and although it seems like im almost the 231th person to make a suggestion about animating the water, i'll still say it. i think it'd be worth spending 1 more hour on this to complete it. this piece really rocks, and what wouldnt you do to make it better. once again, well done.

Sadly, I don't think I have the .psd file for this, so animating the water may not be possible unless I redo it

I beg to differ. I reckon you could bring this wonderful piece back to life and give it a new edge by having a few simply layers for the animation. Just chuck all the existing colours somewhere and make sure you stick to them, and keep the background shape of the structure intact and I think you could do it. If you ever got around to animating it, I'd love to see the end effect.

that's very cool! i love Escher's work and you did a fine pixel representation of this one. i think it would be really cool if you were to animate the water and ripples. i know it would be kinda hard to loop, but it would be worth it if you got it to work.

i thought of animating it many times. I could animate the waterfall, but this piece has been complete for over a year, and I think it will remain non-animated (unanimated?).
