ARC Lieutenant Edward serves as the squad tactician, third-in-command of Sodor Squad, and is often approached by his squad mates for advice. This is not surprising since he is very smart and wise in his own right. When Order 66 was initiated, he was one of the first to side with Thomas in disobeying the order, and was the first ARC trooper to advise his Jedi superiors to ally themselves with the Rebel Alliance to fight against the Galactic Empire. When the female ARC troopers were introduced, Edward was open to them, and accepted them into the ranks of the Loyalists Clone Forces. There was one female clone trooper who did catch his eye however, and her name was Shiori, a female ARC trooper. Shiori was shy, but Edward was drawn to her, and eventually the two fell in love with each other.

Named after Edward the Blue Engine from Thomas and Friends.
